Register for My Business Account with the CRA

Steps to register your business for a My Business Account

1. Go to https://canada.ca/my-cra-business-account
2. Click “CRA Register” under “Option 2 - Using a CRA User ID and Password”
3. Follow the instructions to complete registration
4. You will need your SIN number, address, and previous year’s tax return statement
5. As you complete the instructions, you will be required select a verification method. The fastest method is to verify by email; however, you will also be required to speak with a CRA agent over the phone to verify your identity
6. The CRA provides a call back service for business inquiries at the following number: 1-800-959-5525
7. After confirming your identity with the CRA, you will receive a code via email, which you can use to login to the CRA and complete the registration process
